The Need for Even More Online Degree Programs
While the number online college degree programs and courses are rising, many institutions still do not provide enough degree programs for students. In one recent study, it has been found that among two-year public colleges, 90% offer online classes. Unfortunately for students however, only 20% of these institutions actually have college degree programs that can be finished online. This trend will surely change as demand for online college degree programs increases.
Not surprisingly, the same study found that among four-year private institutions that have online classes, about 33% havecollege degree programs that can be finished online. More information for several of these institutions can be found on theCDP website.
